The exchange, or selling, process has implied rules and identifiable stages. It is implied that the selling process will proceed fairly and ethically so that the parties end up nearly equally rewarded. The stages of selling, and buying, involve getting acquainted, assessing each party’s need for the other’s item of value, and determining if the values to be exchanged are equivalent or nearly so, or, in buyer’s terms, “worth the price.” Sometimes, sellers have to use their own experiences when selling products with appropriate discounts.
Job Description
Job Title: Advertising Sales Manager
Typically does the following
• Locate and contact potential clients to offer advertising and branding services
• Explain to clients how specific types of advertising/branding will help promote their products
• or services in the most effective way possible
• Provide clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services
• Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing clients
• Inform clients of available options for advertising art, formats, or features and provide samples
• Deliver advertising or illustration proofs to clients for approval
• Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, media kits, and sales contracts
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of a University Degree
• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
