The client delivers Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) asset-based financing to consumers who lack both access to reliable electricity and formal banking services. The company’s anchor product, a basic solar home system, allows consumers access clean light for working and studying after hours, avoid harmful air pollution from kerosene based lighting solutions, and also build credit for additional products and services over time.

Job Description

Job Title: Fund Raiser (Investor Relations / Capital Raising)

Responsibilities

• Own, manage and enhance the company’s 5 year financial model, and the company’s cash position
• Provide strategic advice to leadership on the funding needed to meet company’s objectives
• Support the CEO with potential and existing investors
• Manage the financial controller and his team, who runs the finance, treasury and accounting functions.
• Have ownership of the company’s tax and risk strategies

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Finance degree, professional finance qualifications are preferred
• Finance, accounting or investment background
• Extensive financial modeling capabilities, and some experience interacting with investors and preparing investment documents
• Must be comfortable with data analysis, excel/VBA
• Have experience in a fast growing, dynamic work environment
• Have experience managing financial/accounting teams
• French is a plus jobweb
