Central Ashanti Gold Ghana: Security Shift Supervisor

Central Ashanti Gold Limited (‘CAGL’) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Perseus Mining Limited, a company listed on the Australian and Toronto Stock Exchanges. The Company is developing the Central Ashanti Gold Project near Ayanfuri in the Central Region of Ghana. The project has an expected mine life of 10 years.

Job Description

The Security Shift Supervisor, reporting to the Security Superintendent, will be assigned the duty of supervising and ensuring operational deployment of security personnel for effective patrol and coverage of all strategic locations at mine site in general and Plant Site in particular
The responsibilities for the position include but not limited to the implementation of CAGL security policies and directives and to undertake any other security duties assigned by the Security Superintendent
The position is site based and the Company offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience

Required Skills or Experience

The successful applicant will have at least 5 years field experience in security management practices and having a military/police or private security organisation background
Preference will be give to candidates with basic report writing, investigative and man-management skills with hands-on experience in the use of modern security systems
