Chemonics International seeks a Technical and Program Specialists for an anticipated USAID-funded ‘Ghana energy development program. The anticipated project will work in partnership with USAID to provide capacity building support and technical assistance for energy sector stakeholders in Ghana.

Job Description

Job Title: Technical and Program Specialists 

We encourage specialists in the following fields to submit their applications
Technical:
• Gas Sector Specialists
• Utility Performance improvement specialists (especially with knowledge of utility financial modeling/tariff analyses, customer regularization and metering and expanding access to electricity)
Program and Operations
• Financial & Accounting Specialist
• Logistics and Procurement Specialists
• Monitoring & Evaluation Specialists
• Gender and Social Inclusion Specialists

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the relevant field preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
• Experience working in the energy sector preferred
• Experience working in teams in complex operating environments
• Experience working on USAID and other donor-funded projects preferred
• Proven leadership and integrity
• Professional competency in English
