The Business Finance and Admin will undertake a variety of finance, administrative, and program management tasks. You will handle finance and compliance, help plan and organize programs and activities, and carry out important operational duties. To be excellent finance and admin, you must be organized, detail-oriented, and strongly believe in our mission and core values.
Job Description
Job Title: Business Finance & Administrator Intern/Volunteer
Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsible for compliance of the Company’s financial and fiscal policies, providing leadership and coordination in business planning, financial performance, accounting, and Budgeting efforts.
Oversee day-to-day business activities.
Schedule, organize, and attend stakeholder meetings and maintain the agenda.
Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
Draft, edit, and prepare correspondence paperwork and other materials using word processing, spreadsheets, and or databases.
Ensure that tax and regulatory payments, returns, and filing are up to date and compliant.
Handle our corporate accounting and finance.
Identify and implement best practices to make the Company, financial processes, and internal controls more efficient and effective.
Monthly reporting – locally & overseas.
Budgeting, forecasting & reporting.
Help build relations with external parties.
Evaluate and enhance employment and employee performance.
Detect wastage and improve efficiency in our operations.
Provide customer support (We all do!)
Coordinating and uploading campaigns.
Send donor updates (receipts, Thank yous, photos).
Create and send Monthly Newsletters emails.
Business Finance & Administrator Requirements:
Finance / Business Admin graduate
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Problem-solving skills.
Deep understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software
Strong aptitude for math and details.
Broad business knowledge.
Ethical behavior.
Excellent networking skills.
Accounting and finance experience.
