Position Title: Underground Health & Safety Specialist

Company: Major Mining Company

Salary: Excellent package

• Roster: Africa Residential / Europe 4/2 / Australia OR Canada 7/3
• Location: Remote Mining Region (West Africa)
• Languages: English & French (Fluent)

The Opportunity: As the Health & Safety Specialist on an underground mine site you will be responsible for advising operations and operatives on all matters relating to H&S. There will be a strong emphasis towards analysis, training, advisement of risk and the development of systems and programs across site.

• Core Responsibilities:

• Training

• Risk assessments

• Incident investigations

• Advising operatives and operations on matters relating to H&S
• Analysis of safety data performance

Requirements:

• Underground Mining experience

• Health & Safety experience

• Excellent communication

• Qualifications relating to Health & Safety

• Positive attitude
