Job Description

Job Title: Java Architect (with NoSql and SOLR) – $80k

This position will be a member of our fast paced, highly motivated, and diverse team. The position will be software design and development in the area of large scale distributed systems and search capabilities on top of large data sets that will utilize expert knowledge of NoSql, especially SOLR.

Required Skills and Experience

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field. Masters preferred.
• Programming/Scripting Languages: C, C++, Java, and various scripting languages like sh/perl/python/jython
• Database skills: SQL and NoSQL
• Open Source SME: SOLR (required); RabbitMQ, SSO/SAML, Mail Routing, ActiveMQ, and Cassandra (preferred)
• Platform Experience: Windows, Linux (CentOS, RHEL)
• Cloud Architecture: AWS
• Specialties: Software design and implementation
• Quick learner that is able to quickly gain deep product knowledge and actively contribution to production issues

Compensation: $40/hr for 40 hours/week

Location: Global (remote) and able to work U.S. business hours
