The Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Ghana is seeking a dedicated individual who will serve as an Energy Advisor.

Responsibilities
The Energy Advisor will be part of the Embassy’s Economic/Commercial Section, which handles the full range of Korea Ghana collaboration on economic/commercial issues.
The Energy Advisor will be working alongside another colleague in a different sector.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Ghana’s Energy /Mineral resources policy and business climate.
Working with the Counsellor, the successful candidate will be a vital part of the team and will take the lead on a number of specific issues.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Research and Report on a variety of policies, projects, and issues in the private and government sectors relevant to energy and mineral resources. – Research major tender information and assist Korean companies’ business activities in relevant areas. – Provide administrative support, as required. Qualifications / Experience: – Successful completion of a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or higher – Ghanaian Nationality – Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; – Flexibility in a team setting with the ability to work independently and an enthusiastic approach preferred. Possesses at least one of the following qualifications required: – Working experience in an industry/institute in the relevant fields; or – Working experience in consulting firms in the relevant fields;
Preference: Master’s degree in the relevant field Position type: One yearcontract basis and subject to an initial probation period of 3 months (from July/August 2017 to October/November 2017) Remuneration: 1,2001,500 USD/ Month Application deadline: at 17:00, Wednesday, June 21, 2017
