A leading Oil & Gas company is looking for qualified candidates for the Aviation Dispatcher position, based in Takoradi

Job Description

Job Title: Aviation Dispatcher

Main Responsibilities

• Perform the pre-flight schedules (liaising with contractors or focal people for information to prepare manifest for the next day’s flight
• Maintain contact with various contractors to ensure staff authorised to travel are only booked to travel
• Disseminates flight information to the ENI Ghana Management and all contractors concerned of the crew change activities. Receive the passengers going offshore, follow up the check-in and embarkation procedures. Conducts necessary changes as required
• Ensure personnel traveling are the right personnel booked for a specific flight
• Verify that all passengers are carrying the appropriate documentation authorised to travel offshore
• Receive and approve authorised freights to be sent offshore with manifest attached conduct analysis if freight accepted falls into category of dangerous goods
• Approve flight manifest on behalf of ENI Ghana for a flight to depart
• Maintain records of all flights including sectors flown, number of passengers or weight of freight, delays and their possible causes, etc
• Maintain control over helicopter movement messages and alerts in case of aircraft overdue
• Act as the focal point for managing aviation activities in the absence of the Aviation Advisor for the management of ENI Ghana
• Updating of POOST (Planning and Optimization of Offshore Transportation)

Qualification Required & Experience

• Degree/Diploma Certificate – preferably technical
• The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in aviation supervision
• English language fluency (read, writing, understanding)
• PC literate / Proficient in use of Microsoft Office
• Must pay attention to details, work under pressure, work with little or no supervision
