Entrance University College of Health Sciences is newly established private tertiary institution with accreditation for the training of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) from the National Accreditation Board and affiliated to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Kumasi. The mission of the University College is “To provide an ethical and entrepreneurial environment for teaching, research and training for medical and health professionals to impact generations.

Job Description

Job Title: Dean

Job Summary

Under the President, the Dean shall be responsible for

• Maintaining and promoting efficiency and good order
• Providing strategic direction in running the School in accordance with the policies and procedures, prescribed by the University Statutes and as may be determined by the University Council and the Academic Board

Qualification Required & Experience

• Have academic/or professional qualifications in any discipline of pharmacy, A doctoral degree will be an advantage
• Be a senior Lecturer/or its equivalent in a research institute and must have been in the position for not less than 2 years
• Be capable of handling and coordinating multiple roles and maintain a high level of professional and ethical standards
• Be visionary, business-oriented and capable of maintaining collaboration with internal/external stakeholders
• Have extensive links with international bodies, advocacy groups, scholars and relevant scholarly associations and agencies
• The appointment is for 2 years in the first instance and may be subject to renewals as determined by the council
