Purpose of Job Role
Responsible to manage the delivery of services and resources on the “live” network, Broadcast platform and/or IS/IT customer’s infrastructure, ensuring the coordination of the deployment or technology integration activities, the quality of the implementation, the adequacy of the testing procedures and tools, the proper acceptance and the smooth handover to operations, according to Ericsson’s and the customer’s network particularities and requirements.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Deployment & Integration Delivery Management
Operational Management for the end-to-end deployment & integration activities delivery (Deployment, Technology Integration) towards the specific customer or Ericsson Broadcast environment
Responsible to ensure the correct and efficient preparation of the live customer network, Broadcast or IS/IT infrastructure for the deployment and integration of any new or enhanced service or resource
Responsible to secure Deployment Management activities are efficiently performed and are supported by the other delivery organizations and MSIP functions
Change Management
Responsible to grant approval with the customer on changes that impacts Ericsson or the customer’s network, Broadcast and IS/IT infrastructure and MS Delivery
Release & Deployment Management
Approve release and deployment strategy, when necessary, securing, Ericsson Global or customer requirements are always taken into consideration
PERTINENT EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION
Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent. Master Degree on the engineering area would be an advantage.
