To manage and enhance the existing portfolio of Agribusiness customers and solicit acceptable new relationships in order to meet the pre-set financial and non-financial objectives. This will be achieved through developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers at key levels to optimize the utilization of the Bank’s products.

Job Title: Head Agribusiness Unit

Key Requirements

Minimum 1st degree, preferably in Agric

• • Minimum 5/7 years’ experience in managing agribusiness customers in a bank
  • Knowledge of Bank products and services targeted at the agribusinesses market.
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial accounts of Agribusinesses
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Relevant experience in managing agribusiness customers
  • Ability to identify the banking needs of agribusiness customers
  • Good understanding of the agric value chain concept
  • Good credit risk assessment skills in the agribusiness space
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong time management and self organization skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of basic Microsoft skills
  • Ability to gain information of competitor activity in the local market
  • Understanding of economic trends
  • Sound knowledge of bank’s products
  • Sound knowledge of banking practices and theories
  • Strong supervisory skills
