The Finance Manager shall be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of financial and management procedures in the company and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role partners with the various business units to provide financial direction and guidance to help resolve business issues. The role  reports to the CFO

Role Specific Requirements:

• Managing  the accounts of the firm to comply with statutory and international requirements and conventions
• Develop efficient systems, processes and procedures relevant for the business and provide documentation for support
• Prepare various analysis for the needs of the top management
• Lead the annual planning process to ensure that the various departmental budgets are based on sound financial and economic assumptions and are aligned to the business objectives
• Develop and implement adequate internal controls and ensure the continuous protection of company assets and integrity of financial reports
• Provide analysis of the viability of investments proposals with alternative solutions and their implications
• Review all major contracts with suppliers of goods and services and highlight any financial implications. Provide alternative solutions in the reviews  to protect the interest of the company
• Champion the identification and management of business risk from all decisions  taken by the business team
• Educate and assist the Junior Accountant
