Our history begins in 1866, with the foundation of the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company. Henri Nestlé develops a breakthrough infant food in 1867, and in 1905 the company he founded merges with Anglo-Swiss, to form what is now known as the Nestlé Group. During this period cities grow and railways and steamships bring down commodity costs, spurring international trade in consumer goods.

US brothers Charles and George Page help establish Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company. Using abundant supplies of fresh milk in Switzerland, they apply knowledge gained in their homeland to establish Europe’s first production facility for condensed milk in Cham. They start supplying Europe’s industrial towns with the product under the Milkmaid brand, marketing it as a safe, long-life alternative to fresh milk.

Nestlé’s founder, German-born pharmacist Henri Nestlé, launches his ‘farine lactée’ (‘flour with milk’) in Vevey, Switzerland. It combines cow’s milk, wheat flour and sugar, and Nestlé develops it for consumption by infants who cannot be breastfed, to tackle high mortality rates. Around this time he starts using the now iconic ‘Nest’ logo.

Job Title: Financial Services Assistants.

Nestlé Business Services is currently looking for Financial Services Assistants. The incumbents will ensure all activities in scope are executed in a timely and accurate manner.

In order to successfully achieve the purpose of this role, the job holder will focus on four (4) main areas:

Processing:

• Have a robust understanding of the  end-to-end process to facilitate accuracy of data.
• On time processing with the highest level of quality.

Compliance:

• Have a good understanding of the Account Payable and procurement best practices to ensure compliance.
• Adherence to relevant standard routines during processing activities.

Others:

• Demonstrate and maintain a strong network with other stream in Account    Payable (Post Procurement, Vendor Master Data & Reporting) and other Nestlé Business Services streams to promote the End-to End mindset within the team.
• Have customer service mindset to foster good working relationship with Internal Business Partners.
• Ensure accurate daily completion of the Time management tool.

Knowledge Acquisition:

• Develop a fair understanding of the procurement end-to-end process to understand the impact of all processes on stakeholders

• Participate in all AP process trainings and Knowledge Transfer sessions
• Ensure accurate daily completion of OPM tool and Time management tool (KRONOS)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Admin, Accounting, social sciences, economics
• Good Communication Skills.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Being bilingual (French & English) will be a plus.
