Introduction
Our client Xenesi Inc. is an exciting Tech startup located in Accra, Ghana. The company is seeking to hire an Office Manager to support the launch of its operations in Ghana.

Objectives 
The successful candidate shall work with the General Manager to bring the necessary focus to the business, help establish an ethical organizational culture, manage staff and contractors, drive productivity and value-creation, identify growth opportunities, maintain profitability and continuously improve customer satisfaction.

Key duties and responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate shall inter-alia be responsible for the following:

Operations

Advertisement
  • Ensuring the optimum utilization of resources.
  • Ensuring that all functions of operation are performed in a manner consistent with Company quality standards, ethics, safety and economy.
  • Planning, developing, implementing and directing operational activity; supporting elevated levels of customer satisfaction and corporate growth.
  • Maintaining responsiveness to customer requirements and customer relationships to expand business opportunities.
  • Business Development
  • Planning, organizing and directing business development and marketing functions; as well as, coordinating and cooperating in other business areas.
  • Supporting the development of policies, standards and operating procedures that support the business objectives.
  • Ensuring implementation of and adherence to policy frameworks.
  • Working with the management team on strategic plans supporting the business objectives and implementing approved strategic plans including collaborating in joint marketing efforts and use of required resources.
  • Financial and human resource management
  • Working with management to determine future staffing needs and facilitate training of staff
  • Supporting the effective management of all human resources (direct employees, consultants, subcontractors)
  • Supporting the development of operating budgets to meet business objectives

Required Skills or Experience

  • Interested candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience with responsibilities for overseeing operations and leading multidisciplinary teams. Experience managing IT related projects is preferred. Basic accounts management skills; working knowledge of Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress, Joomla etc.); knowledge of Business Intelligence Systems are highly desired. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher education in Business Administration or related qualification is desired; however, candidates lacking a degree but with relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.  Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Information Systems (AWS, CGEIT, CISCO etc.) is a plus.
  • The individual must be results focused, collaborative, creative, customer focused, open to learn and a team builder.
