Maintain adequate current audit file (working papers) for review by the Unit leader at the end of the audit
Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Auditor
• Prepare audit observations are prepared and supported with adequate working papers for submission to the Unit Leader;
• Accomplish tasks to meet deadlines; and
• Undertake any other job that may be assigned by the Team Leader, Branch Head or District Auditor.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• A first Degree in Accounting from an accredited tertiary institution,
• A second Degree in Accounting or auditing or finance from an accredited tertiary institution,
• A partly qualified in ICAG, ACCA and CIMA (Level 1 or 2)
• National Service Certificate

• Computer proficiency,
• Research and data analysis,
• Communication and Report writing skills,
• Adaptability,
• Team player,
• Presentation skills,
• Knowledge of finance, relevant public sector laws and auditing standards,
• Honest and maintain high standards of conduct.
