Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Technician Engineer (Trainee)

Under the General Supervision of the Director of Air Traffic Safety Engineering, the successful candidate will ensure that all the various functions/ tasks are performed as indicated below:

Job Function:

• Assist in carrying out planned preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities
• Will undergo OJT Training on Air Navigation Equipment such as Radar, HF/VHF Radios, AMHS and Navigational AIDS under the supervision of the Training Manager
• Undertake training on CNS/ATM Environment
• Understudy Senior Technician Engineers in Maintenance work
• Perform other technical duties as may be assigned

Qualification and Experience

• Possess an HND in Telecom / Electronics / Electricals
• Member of IET

Personal Attributes

• A very good computer or IT knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal and good communication skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Must have in-depth technical skills in the area of work and a high sense of responsibility
• Must be able to work under pressure
