Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Ceramists

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct fieldwork, including sitting, logging and sampling of pits activities to delineate clay-type materials and products
Assist in the preparation of clay samples, as well as firing and conducting of physical tests
Assist in the collection and compilation of data on clay and ceramic materials
Assist in the design and fabrication of clay products
Any other work assigned by the Management of GGSA in furtherance of the Authority’s objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Candidates for this position must:

possess a minimum of Bachelor of Industrial Arts (Ceramics Option) awarded by a recognised tertiary institution.
have at least two (2) years relevant experience in a reputable public or private sector organisation
have completed the statutory National Service
assist in the collection, compilation, analysis and interpretation of data on clay materials and products
have good interpersonal and communication skills
