Ghana Immigration Service Recruiting 30 Positions

Eligibility

– Must be of good character

– Must have no criminal records

– Should not be more than 35 years [Lawyers]

– Should not be more than 30 years [Others]

– Physically fit by immigration standards

– Minimum height of 1.73 meters [5ft 8in] for Males and 1.63 meters [5ft 4in] for Females

Categories

1. Head of Procurement [One Position]

Qualification

– Graduate Degree in Business Administration or possess professional qualification from Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS)

– Minimum of 5 years post qualification practice and experience in the field of Procurement and Stores Management in a major enterprise

– Good working knowledge of INCOTERMS 2000 chart of responsibility

– Good working knowledge of Public Procurement Act, 2003 (ACT 663) and its procedures

2. Application Software / Database Administrator [One Position]

Qualification

– Degree in Computer Science with at least 4 years working experience

– Knowledge of MS application and Microsoft Server applications

– Sufficient working experience in Client and Server based operating systems and applications, such as Oracle, SQL, Database and Windows Server/Linux Operating Systems

3. Network Administrator [One Position]

Qualification

– Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification with at least 4 years working experience in networking environment

– Must have hands on experience and implementing LANs, WAN and must have in-depth knowledge experience in windows server operating systems

– Certification such as MCSE, MCDBA and Network + will be an added advantage

4. Data and Statistics Manager [Two Positions]

Qualification

– Degree or Diploma in Statistics with at least 3 years working experience

5. Telecommunications Manager [Two Positions]

Qualification

– BSc / HND electrical / electronics, and must have knowledge in telecommunications and the management of communication equipment, with at least 3 years or progressively working experience

– Must have practical experience in installation, configuration, trouble-shooting and maintenance of LAN/WAN, PBX and satellite communication

6. Record Manager [2 Positions]

Qualification

– BSc Information Management / HND Information Management

– 3 years working experience in similar capacity

7. Information Security Officer [2 Positions]

Qualification

– BSc Computer Science with four years experience in Managing Information Security

– ISACA, CISSP and SSCP certified

8. Legal Officer [2 Positions]

Qualification

– A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Law [ ie. LLB or BA (Law)] from a reputable university with emphasis on corporate law and regulation or its professional qualification

– A member of Ghana Bar Association

9. Senior Legal Officer [2 Positions]

Qualification

– A minimum of a Bachelors degree in law from a reputable university, with emphasis on corporate law and regulation or its equivalent professional qualification

– A member of Ghana Bar Association

– A minimum of 8 years working experience in corporate law and regulation

– Active Court practice

10. Internal Auditor [ 2 Positions]

Qualification

– Good first degree in Accounting or Auditing from recognize University or

– ICA level 2 or

– ACCA level 2

– At least 2 years post-qualification in an audit related function

11. Medical Assistant [2Positions]

Qualification

– Applicants must possess Diploma in Medical Assistantship

– A year working experience

12. Information Management / Librarian [2 Positions]

Qualification

– Diploma in Library and Archival Studies from an accredited University

– Three or more year’s managerial experience in a similar field

13. Legal Secretary [2 Positions]

Qualification

– SSCE / WASSCE certificate with credit in five (5) subjects including English and at least a pass in Mathematics

14. Nursing Officer [2 Positions]

Qualification

– Degree in Nursing from reputable University

– four years practical experience in a medical facility in Ghana

15. Transport Officer [2 Positions]

Qualification

– Certificate in Transport and Logistics from a recognized institution in Ghana or abroad

16. Psychologist / Counselor [ 2 Positions]

Qualification

– Degree in clinical psychology from a recognized University

– 3 years working experience

17. Quantity Surveyor

Qualification

– Relevant University degree

– Knowledge of CAD will be an added advantage

18. Educationist [2 Positions]

Qualification

– Must have first degree in education from a recognized university

– Must have worked in education sector for not less than 5 years

19. Civil Engineer

Qualification

– At least HND in Civil Engineering from a tertiary institution

– Must have worked in the education sector for a period not less than five years
