Ghana Aids Commission provides information and support to HIV/Aids patients in Ghana, they are currently recruiting HR / Admin Manager

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Administration, the Administrative/HR Manager undertakes activities in the co-ordination of the administrative and human resource management functions at the Commission

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Assists in managing the provision of administrative and support services at the Commission
•Performs human resource management functions and assists in ensuring efficiency in staff utilization
•Co-ordinates the development and implementation of staff training programmes
•Assists in managing the provision and maintenance of common support facilities including transportation, office accomodation and utilities at the Secretariat
•Liaises with the relevant functional divisions of the Commission is planning and coordination of capacity development programmes for implementing partners
•Supervises organization of meetings and similar official functions at the Commission
•Monitors vehicles usage, maintenance, fuel and supervision of drivers
•Monitors consumption of office supplies and stores
•Supervise housekeeping duties and use of office premises
•Sees to effective security and safety at the GAC Secretariat
•Assists in coordinating provision of administrative services to the Commission and its Technical Committees

Required Skills or Experience

Qualification & Experience:

•Masters degree in Business/Public Administration, Social Sciences or related disciplines
•A minimum of five (5) years relevant working experience in a managerial position in the public society sector
•Considerable experience in human resource management and organization development
•High-level computer proficiency and internet skills
