The Ghana Stock Exchange is the principal stock exchange of Ghana. The exchange was incorporated in July 1989 with trading commencing in 1990. It currently lists 42 equities and 2 corporate bonds. All types of securities can be listed.

Job Description

Job Title: Financial Analyst

Qualification

A good first degree in accounting, finance, commerce or economics from a recognized university
At least three years post qualification experience
Possession of a Ghana Stock Exchange Securities course certification will be an advantage

Skills & Attributes

Good analytical, organizational, problem solving and communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Pro-active, self-motivated, team player and results oriented
Computer literacy
Audit experience will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities

Risk management, surveillance and investigative duties
Audit and control functions
Compilation and analysis of data to guide decision-making
Producing reports to regulators, local and international organizations
Any other related assignment that may be given from time to time
Age Limit
Not more than 35 years
