Job Description

Job Title: Factory Manager

• Salary range: GHS 1,500 -2,000 a month

Job Description 

• The manager is responsible for the general oversight of all technical and non-technical aspects of running the factory
• Responsible for recruiting and training qualified skilled technicians, machine operators, installers, sales staff, drivers and casual laborers
• Responsible for developing standard operating procedures and ensuring all internal processes and procedures are adhered to by staff. He is to work diligently to create a culture of health and safety
• He must safeguard all assets of the factory and submit monthly production reports to senior management
• The manager must have inventory oversight and will be tasked with preventing shrinkage
• Has the secondary responsibility to grow sales and increase local market share

Qualities

• He/She must subscribe to a high ethical and professional code of conduct and pledge to represent the company with the highest of professional standards
• He/She must be organized, detail oriented, quality focused, motivated and able to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
• Must have strong industry knowledge and the ability to develop lower level staff
