Job Description:

Globacom Ghana needs capable professionals who can fill the position in Glo 1. The positions attract internationally competitive remuneration.

REF: CCCM

  • Manage the collection process of Glo 1 services
  • Manage the cycle from the bill dispatch to actual collection and necessary set off against client’s account for payments made
  • Prepare quarterly and monthly collection plans based on invoice values and ageing of bills
  • Track the collections made and share relevant MIS for the same on a predefined format

Globacom Limited, Nigeria’s Second National Operator In GSM, Fixed, Broadband and Gateway services with subsidiaries in Nigeria, Republic of Benin, Ghana and other West African Countries. We have just launched the commercial services of Glo 1 submarine cable. It’s the only direct undersea cable from London to Lagos, and 13 other African countries, with a dedicated link to America. All connecting seamlessly into Glo’s 10,000 kilometers of fibre-optic backbone throughout Nigeria. In fact, Glo 1 has created the only completely end to end communications network in the region. With Points of Presence (POP) in the UK, Hong Kong, USA and Virtual POPs in France and Germany, Glo Gateway services manage roaming connections, voice and data traffic both in the local and international markets.

Required Job skills or experience:

  • Relevant university degree in Economics, Marketing or Business related discipline is preferred
  • Relevant post graduate or professional qualification will be added advantage
  • 5-8 years cognate experience in credit control management in a leading telecoms/ISP company
  • Good knowledge of and exposure to accounting and billing software package
