Purpose

- Newmont’s Graduate Program is a Newmont global initiative aimed at attracting, developing and retaining new graduates based on our business needs to strengthen the entry level bench strength, while providing the identified graduates with on-the-job experience and development.
- Support workforce planning to fill key skill gaps, develop niche skill sets and build strategic talent pools to strengthen our entry level bench strength.
- Accelerate technical and leadership skills of the participants to align with Newmont’s Leadership Pipeline behaviours.
Training & Experience
Formal Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or Geology with a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) not less than a Second Class Upper.
Additional Knowledge:
- Knowledge of gold mining or broader hard rock mining.
Experience:
- Should be completing National Service during the 2017-2018 National Service period. National Service experience with a mining company will be an added advantage.
