The EZ Trainee Program is a junior funding program of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Training is provided for German and multilateral development cooperation (DC) organizations. The program is implemented by the German Association for International Cooperation (GIZ) on behalf of the BMZ.
Job Title: Graduate Trainee Program
During the 17-month training, you will go through three practice stations. After one month of preparation, you start your 8-month assignment in this project abroad, a 3-month assignment with an international organization and end with a 5-month assignment in the BMZ.

In the area of governance, the programs “Good Financial Governance” and “Support for Decentralization Reforms” are being implemented in Ghana on behalf of the BMZ and with the help of numerous co-financings. The partner consultation is already closely interlinked in both programs, and from October 2019 the programs will be merged.
Future advice will also focus on increasing self-employment, building realistic and transparent budgets, and improving accountability at all levels of government.
Their main fields of activity will be the support of the technical coordination, the impact-oriented monitoring and the strategic planning of the program, as well as the topic mobilization of own revenues.

Knowledge of development cooperation
First practical experience in a developing country
