Job Title: Senior Inventory Officer

PURPOSE

• Be the business partner to the Plant Manager and the Supply Director

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Qualifications:

• University Degree
• Qualified Accountant

Experience:

• This pro-active and forward thinking candidate with strong business partnering skills, an analytical mind and the ability to implement decisions successfully
• In market knowledge – understands key performance drivers
• Proven track record of influencing stakeholders
• Conceptual, problem solving/analytical skills
• Good experience of relationship building

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead monthly and annual stock counts end to end
• Business partnering with Engineering team to optimize spares procurement and inventory levels
• Partner with Logistics to minimize Breakages and waste in the warehouse
• Ensure rock solid controls in the warehouse e.g. Batch spot check
• Lead annual fixed asset verification
• Ensuring yearly Key distributor returnable count
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy stock account in SAP
• Drive appropriate levels of inventory for the business to deliver business targets including Average working capital
