Job Description

Job Number: 23989BR

Accountabilities:
Reporting to Head of Procurement. You will require to:
To develop and deliver category and commodity strategies
To apply MRP and assure continuous and interrupted production
To deliver ongoing cost improvements of +2% pa on total spend
To develop a supply base capable of supporting the GGBL growth agenda
To form, coach and develop category team members into a high performing team and to enhance local procurement capability for this category

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications Required:

Degree/HND educated with a minimum 7 years procurement experience in an FMCG environment, preferably in the area of Indirect & Commodities & Packaging spend
MCIPS qualification is an advantage
Excellent knowledge of world-class procurement systems; processes and practices
Excellent negotiation and communication skills with significant evidence of savings and value delivery
Excellent knowledge of category management, contracting and contract management is a must
