Job Description

Job Title: Senior Lecturers / Lecturers

Responsibilities

The position will entail duties such as:

• Planning and instructing courses in the day, evening and weekend degree and professional programmes;
• Selecting, acquiring and organizing information to aid students in their studies;
• Recommending textbooks and other materials to the department/faculty head;
• Creating an enabling environment for learners to explore and live the HCC vision;
• Keeping students informed about course contents, requirements and evaluation procedures;
• Serving as role model and facilitator towards students’ development and growth;
• Acting as professional advisor to students and providing the needed guidelines for research and self-studies;
• Maintaining tutorial and advisory hours for consultation;
• Attending departmental and faculty meetings, college assemblies, professional development, orientation activities and other meetings;
• Integrating and applying Biblical principles and Christian philosophy of teaching and mentoring students for spiritual and entrepreneurial development;
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Required Skills or Experience

• Ph.D. in Accounting or Business Administration
• Ph.D. in Marketing
• Ph.D. in Computer Science or Information Technology
