Term/indeterminate position with a starting salary of GH¢9,811.00 per year plus benefits

Summary of Duties:

Under the general supervision of the Deputy Management and Consular Office, operates the central telephone switchboard serving all programs of the mission Programs (especially, Consular Services); controls physical access to the Chancery and provides a front-line security system; and performs other duties

Required Skills or Experience

Bachelors Degree. Applicants with an acceptable combination of education, training and experience may also be considered
At least two years work experience in an office environment, preferably in a client service oriented field
Fluent English and French language skills
Excellent interpersonal and client service skills; discreet and tactful
Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
Provide translation services as requested by the Consular Officer
A self-starter and good organiser with the ability to prioritise work in a dynamic environment
Asset Qualifications:
Experience in liaising with Ghanaian government agencies and diplomatic missions/organisations
Personal Suitability:
Professional integrity, tact, dependability, judgement, initiative, adaptability and flexibility
NOTE: The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced reliability check and security assessment, as well as a medical examination. Successful results for these are required prior to employment
