Ho Polytechnic Ghana Jobs: Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer is the Head of the Procurement Department, Staff in this job description will be required to exhibit high qualities of initiative, resourcefulness, precision and professionalism in the area of specialization. The Procurement Officer shall be responsible to the Rector in the management of the Procurement Unit.

Terms of Appointmen: The Appointment which is full-time, shall be for FOUR (4) years in the first instance and may be subject to renewal for another FOUR (4) years

Required Skills or Experience

A Candidate seeking appointment as Procurement Officer must:

Possess a second degree in the relevant subject
Possess any of the following professional qualifications: CIPS, GhIE; GIS; LB, CA, ACCA, CIMA, ICA in the relevant area and should have a significant post qualification experience
Have excellent knowledge in the application of the Public Procurement Act, 2003, Act 663
Be Computer Literate
Have excellent knowledge in the application of the procurement procedures of international donors, foundations and other multilateral organizations
Exhibit a high degree of administrative and leadership skills
