Job Description

Job Title: Underwriting Administrator

Hollard Ghana is looking for Underwriting Administrator
Job Locations: Tamale Branch Office
Report to: Branch Manager
Job Objective: Ensure prompt clients satisfaction through prudent underwriting and the application of approved standards.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Quote risk adequate premiums for new and renewal businesses within mandate
Process Motor and Non Motor underwriting transactions within the set standards
Underwrite all applications within authorised levels
Ensure endorsements are issued accurately and on time
Issue policies and all other documents as evidence of insurance cover
Oversee proper filling of documents in order to facilitate the retrieval of files.
Complete claims verifications
Issue renewal notices to clients prior to the renewal date

Respond to enquiries from agents and clients to ensure client satisfaction
Process returns from Hollard2U Offices and other agents as well as issue certificates.
Give monthly report on quotations given and the conversion rate

Required Skills or Experience

University Degree in Insurance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related subject
Diploma in Insurance from the WAII or GIC will be an advantage
A minimum of 2 years relevant working experience
Fair understanding of Commercial & Personal Lines based policies
Customer focused in terms of Service Delivery
Advanced computer literacy in MS Office
Should be very meticulous and tactful
Ability to cope under pressure and with good relationship management
