Job Description
Job Title: Corporate Communications Manager (Bilingual)
Key responsibilities
- Developing an integrated communications strategy incorporating PR, Marketing, Online and Social Media
- Implementing communications plans to improve brand awareness and
recognition for the organization
- Building relationships with relevant media outlets to grow national and international media coverage
- Developing and implementing the company’s internal communication strategy
- Develop and manage annual communications budget
- Writing press releases for local and international media
- Monitoring press stories relating to the company and its brand
- Collating and analyzing current communications and messages and
ensuring consistency
- Communicating brand to internal customers and relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills or Experience
- BA degree in Communications, Humanities or relevant field
- Post Graduate Qualification (Masters Degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field will be an advantage
- Membership of a professional communications organization – IPR, Ghana etc
- A proven ability to lead a communications unit in an organization
- A minimum of eight (8) years post qualification working experience in a similar position
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Corporate Communications Manager or similar role
- Highly articulate individual with excellent written communications in English Language
- Strong presentation skills are essential
- Understanding of relevant laws in the Communications Industry
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of other international languages is a plus
- Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Leadership skills along with the ability to motivate a team into high performance
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation
- Must be proficient in MS Office Applications
