Job Description

Job Title: Corporate Communications Manager (Bilingual)

Key responsibilities

  • Developing an integrated communications strategy  incorporating PR, Marketing, Online and Social Media
  • Implementing communications plans to improve brand awareness and
    recognition for the organization
  • Building relationships with relevant  media outlets  to  grow national and international media coverage
  • Developing and implementing  the company’s internal communication strategy
  • Develop and manage annual communications budget
  • Writing  press releases for local and international media
  • Monitoring press stories relating to the company and its brand
  • Collating and analyzing current communications and messages and
    ensuring consistency
  • Communicating brand to internal customers and relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills or Experience

  • BA degree in Communications, Humanities or relevant field
  • Post Graduate Qualification (Masters Degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field will be an advantage
  • Membership of a professional communications organization –  IPR, Ghana etc
  • A proven ability to lead a communications unit  in an organization
  • A minimum of eight  (8) years post qualification working experience in a similar position


  • Proven work experience as a Corporate Communications Manager or similar role
  • Highly articulate individual with excellent written communications in English Language
  • Strong presentation skills are essential
  • Understanding of relevant laws in the Communications Industry
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of other international languages is a plus
  • Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Leadership skills along with the ability to motivate a team into high performance
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Applications
