ICF, a global professional services firm, is immediately seeking Ghanaian professionals who have worked on environmental and climate change resilience issues to support a U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Integrated Resource and Resilience Planning (IRRP) project in Accra, Ghana.

ICF is seeking to expand its existing Accra, Ghana project team to provide technical assistance to both the Ghana Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Ministry of Environment Science Technology and Innovation (MESTI). The new environmental and climate change resilience experts will work closely with the Chief of Party and existing team members to design and manage several capacity building activities focused on advancing Ghana s implementation of its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC).

Job Description

Job Title: Climate Resilience Capacity Building Coordinator

Working closely with the current IRRP team, Senior Climate Resilience Expert, and Climate Resilience Specialist, theClimate Resilience Capacity Building Coordinator will be responsible for developing and coordinating environmental and climate change resilience training activities, gathering relevant data and information and ensuring consistent reporting. This position requires demonstrated experience leading communications with key partners and stakeholders from government, civil society, and the private sector.

Applicants should hold a bachelors degree in the environmental field, and have at least 3 years of experience related to climate risk and/or environmental management.

This full-time position will be based in Accra, Ghana. Hiring is contingent on funding approval by USAID/Ghana.
