Job Description

Job Title: Information Systems Auditor

Key Responsibilities

• Reports to the Head of Internal controls
• Carry out audits of all electronic payment systems of the company
• Manage, control and coordinate all internal and external interfaces associated with the company’s operations
• Conduct operational, compliance, financial and investigative audits, as assigned
• Monitor all information systems audit trails
• Prepare audit finding memoranda and working papers to ensure that adequate documentation exists to support the completed audit and conclusions
• Prepare and present written and oral reports and other technical information in concise and accurate manner
• Follow up on information systems audit findings to ensure that the necessary corrective actions are taken
• Assist in training other audit staff in the use of computerized audit techniques
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualification Required & Experience

• A First Degree in Computer Science from a reputable University with at least 3 years post qualification experience in a similar position. A good knowledge in the downstream petroleum sector is an added advantage
• Should be abreast with current ICT platforms and security issues
• Should have a sound understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
• Ability to review system backup, disaster recovery and maintenance procedures
• A solid understanding of software requirements for the auditing of computing system and procedures
