Summary
IPA seeks qualified applicants to be considered for short term driving assignments throughout the year. This position will be based in Accra with frequent travel to any location in Ghana. IPA is recruiting these Drivers through a common application process. Shortlisted applicants from that common application process are then considered for any driving assignments within the year.

This will not be a continuous employment and selected drivers will only be called for driving assignments intermittently when needed.

Position Summary
The Driver will perform the following responsibilities:

• Drive project teams, staff and other visitors;
• Drive to project sites as and when necessary;
• Ensure vehicle is not misused or mishandled in any way;
• Ensure vehicle is used strictly for official duties;
• Provide periodic reports on the status of the car to the Office Manager;
• Perform other work-related duties that may be assigned.]

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum educational qualification of WASSC or higher;
• Must possess a valid driver’s licence (class “B” holder);
• Must have at least 2 years working experience in a similar position;
• Must be able to write and speak English clearly;
• Must be punctual;
• Experience driving professionally is a plus.
• Candidates who provide references who can vouch for their safety and performance as a Driver will be prioritized.
