Interplast is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person for the following position
Job Description
Job Title: Human Resource Officer
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of 1st Degree with at least 4 years work experience in a manufacturing environment or similar field
• Handles the design and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Prepares varieties of reports monthly and yearly, including technical report and status report pertaining to human resource management programmes and activities
• Provides general clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Division composes and type letters, memoranda, minutes and other correspondence related to human resources programmes and activities
• Explain employment standards and legislation such as labour laws and their application to employees
• Provides information and assistance of staff, supervisors and managers on human resource work related issues
• Plans and coordinates recruitment, prepare job announcement and advertisement, administer and score tests, notifies candidates of application/employment status
• Explains employment benefits and general terms and condition of employment to employees, conduct new employee orientation, ensures the appropriate documentation of new staff
• Handles employee development and training, office logistics and record keeping
• Ensures thet accurate job descriptions are in place for all job positions with the organisation
• Explains employment benefits and legislation such as labour laws and their application to employees
• Well abreast of ISO 9001 Records Management Systems
Performance Measures
• Speed and accuracy of work
• Timely submission of work
• Task completed as instructed and quality of work
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
