Job Description

Job Title: Property Manager

Responsibilities:

Accomplishes financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements and scheduling expenditures
Maintains property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units and completing repairs, planning renovations and contracting with landscaping.
Maintains building systems by contracting for maintenance services and supervising repairs.
Enforces occupancy policies and procedures by confronting violators.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Attracts tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units.
Contracts with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposit.

Property Manager Qualifications / Skills:

Motivation for sales

High level of organization and attention to detail
Competence with office management software
Professionalism
Internal communications
Listening
Ability to drive is a must
Education and Experience:
Diploma, HND, or degree in Hospitality or related
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
1-2 years experience in real estate.
1-3 years’ management experience a plus
Solid knowledge of office software such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
