Job Description
Job Title: IT Audit Officer.
Job Purpose
• IT (information technology) audit assist a team of auditors and ensure their investigation is in compliance with company standards.
• These investigations deal with computer network mismanagement, fraud and inefficiency.
• The job requires a bachelor’s degree in IT-related field, with additional employer education preferences in business or accounting, as well as job-specific certifications,
• This career might appeal to individuals with interests in computers, auditing and business operations
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified information systems auditor credentials preferred by some employers
Skill and Competencies
• Solid understanding of risk and control concepts
• Ability to apply these concepts to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of business process and controls to mitigate risk to tolerance levels defined by management
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Well-developed technical skills in Word and Excel
• Has or will acquire a working knowledge of ESCL policies and procedures and business applications used in ESCL processes
