Job Description

Follow up on documentation after receiving shipment notification
Classification of commodities and preparation of IDFs
Timely Processing of IDFs for FCVRs from the Destination Inspection Companies
Clear goods (vehicle spare parts) from the ports especially the Airport

Required Skills or Experience

HND in Secretaryship/Mechanical Engineering
CEPS Proficiency Certificate Holder
Certificate/Diploma in Cargo Handling or Freight Forwarding will be an advantage
Should be an excellent user of the eMDA portal and GCNet operator
Should have excellent writing skills and be Computer Literate
Applicant should have at least five years working experience
Applicant should not be more than 33 years

2. Registration Officer – (HRJ003)

Registration of vehicles and motorcycles
Change of Ownership processing

Required Skills or Experience

HND in Secretaryship
Applicant must be computer literate
Applicant should not be more than 30 years

3. Assistant Shipping Manager – (HRJ001)

Job Description

Advertisement

Monitor arrival of incoming shipments to avoid payment of rent and demurrage
Classification of commodities for IDF preparation
Draft declaration for in the GCNet System
Check created declarations in the GCNet System
Check and certify invoices issued to clients for payment
Ensure timely clearance of goods

Required Skills or Experience

Graduate in any of the social sciences
CEPS Proficiency Certificate Holder
Certificate/Diploma in Cargo Handling
Computer Literate – excellent in MS Excel, GCNet operator
Applicant should be conversant with various Customs Regimes, Vehicle & Spare parts clearance or related field
Applicant should have at least five years working experience
Applicant should not be more than 40 years
