Our client is a global leader within the Energy industry and as an effort to help to the worldwide spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) they are assisting in the mobilization of qualified medical professionals (Doctors) to the areas of Europe most badly affected by the virus.

This is a 6 – 9-month contract (depending on the development of the situation locally in-country), however, there may the opportunity to remain contracted long-term for the organization on one of their Energy projects worldwide following the containment of Coronavirus and therefore this represents a career opportunity for the long-term and not only an opportunity to help in the fight against a pandemic.

This position will be based in hospitals and other medical centers that have been designated as Coronavirus units and will be responsible for treating individuals diagnosed with COVID-19, many of whom will be considered ‘at risk’ groups often with underlying health issues such as prior diagnosed respiratory problems.

Job Description

Job Title: Tropical and Infectious Disease Specialist

Your background

You will have a Doctorate Degree (or equivalent) and at least 3 years’ experience working post-graduate as a qualified medical practitioner within a clinical environment, ideally hospitals or intensive care units e.g. military camps, etc.

You must be prepared to work within an ‘emergency response’ related environment and preferably have prior experience in a similar circumstance.

You must be in a position to pass a medical examination for the identification of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and mobilize internationally across Europe at short notice on single status.

A specialization and practical experience within one of the following medical disciplines is required:

·       Anesthesia, Analgesia, Reanimation, and Intensive Therapy

·       Diseases of the respiratory system

·       Tropical and Infectious disease

·       Internal Medicine

·       Cardiovascular System Diseases

·       Emergency Medicine

·       Radio-diagnostics

You must speak, read and write English fluently
