Job Description

Job Title: Sponsorship Administrator

CCFC Ghana extends an invitation to qualified and committed persons for the full time position of Sponsorship Administrator.

Scope of the Position
Reporting to the Sponsorship Manager, the Sponsorship Administrator is the primary contact and support at the Country Office for the Markham Office and Partner Offices sponsorship management teams. This role is responsible for providing the sponsorship management support and technical guidance to the partners in order to ensure achievement of our sponsorship goals. The Sponsorship Administrator will represent our sponsors to the partners and be proactive in anticipating sponsor concerns, reactions, questions and complaints.

Specific Responsibilities

Advertisement
  • Be the first line of contact for Markham Office and Partner Office staff for issues relating to sponsorship management.
  • Provide sponsorship management technical guidance to partners
  • Monitor partners’ sponsorship management in order to provide support, identify any trending and take appropriate steps to acknowledge areas of strength as well as address areas for improvement.
  • Follow up on outstanding issues with partner staff and resolve within stipulated timeframes
  • Monitor all aspects related to the Child Protection policy and ensure that the policy is adhered to
  • Assess correspondence from children to their sponsors for quality compliance and take appropriate action on quality issues.
  • Review letters from sponsors, ensuring that the content is appropriate and does not violate CCFC Child Protection Policy
  • Review Child Data Form (CDF) for quality and completeness of information and accurate photos
  • Receive from partners and review all child information corrections, substitutions and inquiry replies prior to sending to Markham Office in Canada.
  • Closely monitor the partners to ensure that all outdated child information (pended) is updated within stipulated timelines
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Travel
Local travel may be required occasionally

Required Skills or Experience

  • Graduate with minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the development field with demonstrated results in quality assurance (QA) and continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives; sponsorship experience is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A team player with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills; able to maintain well-organized manual and electronic filing systems
  • Tenacious with deadlines; result- and detailed oriented
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills; able to read computer reports, identify issues and assess training needs.
  • Fluent in English and local language(s), both written and verbal
  • Strong proof reading skills (including written grammar, sentence structure and flow)
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook; basic PowerPoint) and intermediate experience with customized databases
  • Understanding of community development programs is an asset
  • Demonstrated commitment to CCFC’s Vision, Mission and Values
