Zipline is currently a team of 99 rockstars, with an R&D branch in California, USA and a distribution center for drone deliveries in Muhanga, Rwanda.
We are dedicated to building the strongest team in the world. We’re looking to hire an experienced person to spearhead our recruiting efforts in Ghana and make sure we have HR systems in place to scale while maintaining an insanely high bar.

Job Description

Job Title: Recruiting & HR Coordinator

Responsibilities

Continue to build out and manage Zipline’s recruiting processes with an emphasis on scalability while maintaining our extremely high bar.
Partner with leadership across the organization to build and drive metrics-driven, effective recruitment programs.
Maintain HR and staffing compliance documentation
Build and scale a data-driven, world class recruiting team, supporting Zipline’s hiring needs across the world.

Qualifications

Previous experience managing recruiting and HR at a fast-growing startup
Must have had experience working with teams in West Africa
3+ years experience recruiting and leading talent teams
Proven track record of creating and implementing talent acquisition strategy for high performing team while maintaining culture and promoting diversity
Expertise in tracking recruiting metrics to create data-driven strategies
Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills
Desire to work on a small team and be very hands on

Expectations

Within one month, you will collaborate with the global recruiting & HR team to recruit new team members and ensure all new hires have a spectacular on-boarding experience and are compliant with local labor laws
Within three months, you will own the entire recruitment process for new distribution centers that we launch. You will collaborate with the training team to build a spectacular on-boarding process, and own team-building activities
Within six months, you will hold team-wide training sessions on our recruitment standards and best practices. You will own the creation of new policies as needed, and train new recruiters that we add to our team.
