To design, plan and programme completions and well interventions by working within a multi disciplinary team across various locations both in country and outside. The role is responsible for designing, planning and programming the installation of the completions by working with the rig contractor and service companies.
Job Description
Job Title: Completion Engineer Planner
Responsibilities / Key Objectives:
Designing, engineering, planning and programming of well completion and intervention activities.Lead risk assessments to identify and mitigate design, engineering, planning and operational risks.
Preparation of equipment functional description, specifications and procurement plans and schedules.
Integration of rig and service company procedures into well program.
Preparation of time & cost estimates & AFE’s.
Onshore operational support to completion and well intervention activities.
Coaching and mentoring of junior team members.
Perform post-job analysis and capture lessons learned.

Person Specification
Education / Attributes
A University degree in an engineering discipline or equivalentValid offshore survival certification.
Medically fit to travel and work offshore and internationally
Fluent in English both written and spoken.
High proficiency with IT and industry software including WellCat, Torque and Drag and Hydraulics modeling.
Skills to drive technical, operational, quality and EHS performance.
Great Interpersonal skills
Willing to train and mentor junior colleagues
Experience:
Experience as a completions engineer with operating or service companies.Substantial deep water subsea completions experience in water depths greater than 800 meters.
Knowledge and experience in design and running of Cased Hole Completions including IWS, working in remote locations and working in West Africa.
Knowledge and experience of workshop assembly, testing, preparation and QA/QC of completion equipment.
TL / Senior Engineer with responsibility for the performance and progression of junior engineers.
