The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the KOICA FBCs/FBOs project seeks to engage the services of a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist.
Background
The Projects seeks to improve the quality of life of rural residents in the three regions of northern Ghana through the increased role of farmer-based cooperatives (FBCs) and Farmer-based organisations (FBOs) in rural development. Policy Advocacy in the area of cooperative development in Ghana is an integral component of the project.
Job Description
Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities
The M&E Specialist will be expected to:
• Work closely with partners on the analysis of data generated through routine monitoring
• coordinate the implementation of midline and end line surveys and ensure timeliness and quality
• Provide guidance and feedback to KOICA PIU on matters related to M&E
• Write activity level third party monitoring reports
• Take lead in coordinating activities related to the Policy Advisory and Advocacy component of the project
• Give presentation on policy papers at various stakeholder levels
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required, master’s preferred
• Minimum of 6 years experience working as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist with a governmental, bilateral or multitative and quantitative methods, including design, analysis and interpretation of results
• Proficient in the use of data analysis software such as SPSS
• Excellent writing and editing skill in English language
Duration of contract: 2 years (with annual renewal)
