Job Title 1: Health Educator

Required Skills or Experience

• BSc/BA Degree in Psychology or Social Sciences or other related plus one (1) year internship or national service in a recognised Medical care facility

Job Title 2: Public Health Nurse

Required Skills or Experience

• Valid registration with the Nurses and Midwives Council
• Public Health Nurse Certificate
• Two (2) years of practice

Job Title 3: Community Health Nurses

Required Skills or Experience

• Valid registration with the Nurses and Midwives Council
• Community Health Nurse Certificate

Job Title 4: DDNS for Public Health

Required Skills or Experience

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with Degree in Nursing or Equivalent and FIVE (5) years’ working experience at the level of Principal Nursing Officer and at least evidence of continuing professional development and training in Management
• Experience of policy and standards development
• Research experience
• Experience in Public Health Projects is desirable

Job Title 5: Midwives

Required Skills or Experience

• Valid registration with the Nurses and Midwives Council
• Registered Midwife with Diploma in Midwifery or Post-Basic Certificate in Midwifery
• Must have served at least 1-3 years in a recognised health facility

Job Title 6: Specialist Nurses

Required Skills or Experience

• Advanced Diploma in Critical Care Nursing
• Advanced Diploma in Peri-Operative Nursing
• Advanced DIploma in Ophthalmic Nursing
• First Degree in Emergency Nursing
• Must have completed the mandatory Rotation/National Service

Job Title 7: General Nurse

Required Skills or Experience

• Valid registration with the Nurses and Midwives Council
• First Degree or Diploma in Nursing

Job Title 8: Pharmacy Technicians

Required Skills or Experience

• HND in Dispensing Technology or its equivalent plus ONE (1) year national service at a recognised health facility

Job Title 9: Pharmacists

Required Skills or Experience

• Degreee in Pharmacy and a Registered Pharmacist plus at least ONE (1) year internship

Job Title 10: Theatre Manager

Required Skills or Experience

• Registered Nurse/Midwife
• BSc Administration or Management Degree
• Advanced Diploma in Peri-operative Nursing will be considered
• Post graduate specialist qualification
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
• Experience in Theatre Management would be an advantage

Job Title 11: Specialist

Required Skills or Experience

• MB chB or its equivalent
• Registration with Medical and Dental Council
• Membership/Fellowship with a recognised college of Post-Graduate specialisation
