Our client, a global independent oil and gas company with significant presence in Europe, Africa, South America and South Asia, boasts of a successful track record in the discovery and production of quality oil and gas. Its current exploration sites in Ghana are due to oil production. Consequently, to consistently maintain efficient operation, our client is seeking to recruit competent professionals with the right passion, drive and hands-on approach to assist in the operational and strategic

Reporting to the IS Manager and the Local Area Manager, the IS Service Delivery Lead for the delivery of Information Systems services on a daily basis

Spearheading the move to “Service Management” through the adoption of ITIL within our ways of working and communicating the value of Information Systems to all who can benefit from it
Taking accountability for local office Information Systems service support; acting as first point of escalation for local Information Systems Issues
Managing the delivery of service from delivery of service from delivery units and other direct service suppliers
Responsible for the identification and tracking, within the delivery teams, of true problems to completion
Providing inputs into bids, due diligence and transition planning for new contracts Ensuring OLA’s, SLA’s, and any third party supplier agreements are in alignment and capable of delivering services within contracted time frames
Coordination with the Configuration Manager, and managing the resolution of data inconsistencies within the CMDB
Supporting Process Owners and ensuring process functionality and delivery

Required Skills or Experience

A degree in Information Technology (IT)
A relevant professional qualification such as MCSE, MCSA or CCNA
Minimum of 5 years post qualification practical experience
Experience in IT set-up projects, notably:
International/emerging nation experience
Planning and design of the set-up
Local and design of the set-up
Local supplier identification, negotiation and management
Must have excellent verbal, written and listening skills
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Ability to take responsibility and manage tasks through to completion
Must be creative, open, honest, reliable and adaptable to change
