Our client is seeking an outstanding, dynamic and performance-oriented high level banking professional to fill the post of Managing Director.
Report to and keep the Board of Directors fully apprised of all matters
Lead the team to achieve outstanding results through delivering the strategic
goals approved by the Board of Directors
Implement the company’s compliance policies, enhance risk management practices and intensify debt recovery effort
Foster a strong compliance, risk management and internal control culture
Build a strong executive and senior management team that has integrity,commitment and passion for results, openness, and a focus on superior banking and financial services delivery
Build strong relationships across the stakeholder, client and business partner communities
Consolidate debt recovery, build a credible portfolio, open up new avenues and possibilities
Required Skills or Experience
Educational Qualifications and Experience
Masters degree in Banking, Finance, Investments, Strategy or other relevant area
Professional Banking/Finance certification would be an added advantage
Minimum of 15 years experience in a bank with at least 10 years experience in a senior executive role
Board level experience as well as significant international exposure.
Unequivocal sense of integrity, strong ethical stance and committed to openness and transparency and team work
Willing to be held accountable and to be judged on results across all sectors of the Bank’s operations and functioning
Clear leadership capacity and able to galvanise commitment to the vision, strategy and values
Understands and recognises the value of financial, management and operational information for effective running of the bank and is a keen user of such information in enhancing shareholder value
Strong analytical and communication skills and able to work in a collegial manner with the Board of Directors while understanding the ultimate responsibility of the Board.
