Kumasi polytechnic was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute. The Polytechnic has been making strides in the quest to fulfil its mandate of training students to meet the critical manpower needs of the country. The Polytechnic has a student population of about 8,000and a staff population of about 500. IN October, 1963, the institution was turned into a Polytechnic under the control of the Ghana Education Service.  The main programmes which were taught from that time included technician courses in Engineering, Catering, Fashion Design, Royal Society of Arts (R.S.A.) and Diploma in Business Studies (D. B. S.)

Kumasi Polytechnic is currently seeking to employ a Deputy Registrar.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A Master’s degree with considerable number of years of relevant experience in a Senior Administrative position in a tertiary or analogous institution
• or A relevant professional final qualification with considerable experience in  tertiary or analogous institution
• or A Senior Assistant Registrar who has served for at least 5 years in a tertiary or analogous institution

Computer literacy shall be required
