Lancaster University Ghana is looking for dynamic, hardworking individuals to fill the position of Recruitment and Admissions Officer.
Job Description
Job Title: Recruitment And Admissions Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing/Recruitment Events
Undertake school visits,
Organise Open Days and Recruitment Fairs,
Call Centre Management
Act as the first port-of-call (answering initial enquires) to admissions process,
Call and follow up on all leads,
Assign all leads,
Vet and review responses to admissions enquiries,
Assist with advising applicants on programme choices and other aspects of the admissions process,
Maintain and manage information on all enquiries using the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system,
Articulate and support the customer value proposition to ensure differentiation from competitive offerings,
Record all contacts, meetings, communications and presentations with clients in the CRM system,
Applications Management
Process applications,
Provide advice and support to applicants throughout the admissions process,
Respond to standard admissions mails,
Provide advice and information to departmental staff on overseas institutions and qualifications, non-standard applications and English language scores, as appropriate,
Make recommendations in line with ‘entry criteria’,
Communicate admission decisions to applicants,
Oversee the maintenance of records on the database of applications received, offers made and intake,
Send out correspondence to applicants regarding scholarships,
Ensure that prospective students receive appropriate pre-arrival information,
Conversion
Oversee the conversion of activity from enquiry to application; application to offer; offer to acceptance; and acceptance to registration in
conjunction with programme teams,
Provision of Management Information.
Oversee the maintenance of relevant databases for prospective students including personal details and admissions status and decisions,
Use the relevant databases in order to produce detailed monthly admissions reports for use by the programmes,
Required Skills or Experience
A good first degree in Sales and/or Marketing
Professional Certification in Sales and/or Marketing,
Significant knowledge and working experience in sales and marketing,
Good report writing, presentation and organization skills,
Good oral and written communication skills
Good IT skills,
Excellent customer service skills,
