The VF Cash Reporting Analyst will be the custodian of all Treasury related activities including liaison, cash monitoring, accounting and reporting of transactions.

Job Description

Job Title: Vodafone Cash Reporting Analyst

The Reporting Analyst will have overall responsibility for Reconciliations of all Banks as well as Trade payables directly related to VF cash financial operations.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• Preparation of a report on Company’s cash position
• Working with banks on a daily basis to solve operational issues
• Processing of necessary Bank Transactions in Accounting system
• Performing Bank Reconciliations for all bank GLs (Vodafone Cash)
• Monitor and Manage all Bank accounts
• Assist in updating departmental procedures
• Reconciliation of Trade Payable Accounts
• Ensure all Wallets balance with Cash in Bank
• Ensure compliance with Internal Controls
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance
• Assist in Month End Reporting
• Any other task that will be assigned by Manager

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Progression towards (Partly qualified) ACCA, CA(Ghana), CIMA, CPA is highly desirable
• Minimum of two years’ experience in an Accounting and Finance role
• Strong interpersonal and Communication skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritise and multitask
• Ability to function with the right balance in a high–paced environment
• High degree in accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge in Mobile Money systems or ability to quickly learn the MFS business
• Knowledge in Accounting is a must
